If your child is going to be inYear 1 next year then this is an essential workshop - designed just for you.
We will be looking at what is happening inside the brain of your child as they grow and develop during this important year and the implications on their behaviour, friendships, learning, values and emotions. We'll also be looking at how to get the best from your child and how to help them be the best version of themselves by managing their behaviour in ways that encourage personal responsibility, empathy and self-worth. This includes setting and maintaining appropriate family based boundaries (to help increase their sense of belonging and resilience), helping them grow and maintain friendships with peers and developing empathy and 'mind reading'. We'll also discuss making your family values framework clear and achievable as they grow and parenting in ways that encourage independence, curiosity and confidence - key ingredients for a great childhood.
